Bayern Munich legend and board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has expressed optimism that the club can reach a new contract agreement with Harry Kane.
Rummenigge explained that while Bayern have traditionally preferred short-term contracts for players over 30, Kane could be an exception because of his performances and reliability.
βIβm optimistic that they will find a good solution,β Rummenigge said.
He added: βWe are convinced by Harry. We mustnβt forget that he has only been injured once in three years.β
The comments suggest Bayern remain keen to keep the England captain beyond his current contract, with discussions expected to continue.
